The main course of transportation for out of state or out of country patients is by air. Please make your flight arrangements with the airline of your choice. Your flight destination is San Diego International Airport. When you arrive at this airport, our transportation representative will greet you at the baggage claim department, load your belongings, and transport you to our facility. At completion of treatment, when it is time for you to leave our facility, our transportation representative will drive you to San Diego International Airport for your return flight home.
Driving Directions from San Diego to Hope4Cancer Institute:
Take INTERSTATE 5 SOUTH or 805 SOUTH to the INTERNATIONAL BORDER. You will arrive at the San Ysidro border crossing at Tijuana, Mexico.
If you are planning to walk across the border, you must exit the freeway at CAMINO de la PLAZA. This is the LAST USA EXIT. You will find several parking lots to choose from to park your vehicle for the day. The average cost of parking is $7.00 to $10.00 per day.
After you drive across the border, merge over to the far right lane as soon as possible. The sign for this lane will read ENSENADA ROSARITO SCENIC ROAD.
As soon as you are in the far right lane you will see another sign that reads ZONA RIO PLAYAS DE TIJUANA ROSARITO. Follow this sign as you exit the freeway and curve to the right. You will now be driving along the fence of the international border.
Continue driving on this four lane road with a center divide until the road splits again at the bottom of the hill. Make sure you are in the far right lane. Curve to the right with the road and follow the signs that read ENSENADA and CANON MOCTEZUMA.
Drive on this 4 lane divided road until you drop down into Playas de Tijuana. At the third stop light you will see a large circular structure on your right. This is the Bull ring. TURN RIGHT AT THE BULL RING.
Continue towards the arch and the stop sign at the end of this road.
When you reach the arches and the stop sign, TURN LEFT.
