I am a healthy mother of three.
At the age of 38 I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After a mastectomy and 6 rounds of chemotherapy, I was assured that I had done all that I could to rid myself of the disease. My oncologist just smiled and said "no." After one year, my cancer spread to my lymph nodes and mediastinum. Now, I was classified stage 4, and given the terrible survival statistics.
