Sylvester, Colon Cancer

Sylvester is a 76 year old male who in 2005 was diagnosed with Colon Cancer had a near total colon resection with placement of a colostomy bag.

He felt good until December 2006 when he noticed decreased appetite and subsequently lost 50 pounds.

On February 2007 an abdominal CT-Scan showed a 7cm (2.8 inches) mass on the tail (end) of the pancreas. The cancer had returned!

Now, it had spread to the pancreas and was causing abdominal pain upon eating. He was offered chemotherapy and was "given" 3 months to live.

Sylvester decided to seek treatment at Hope4Cancer Institute. He arrived on April 3rd 2007 with the diagnosis of recurrent Colon Cancer metastatic to the pancreas.

He complained of weakness, abdominal pain, which intensified with eating, poor appetite, fatigue, moderately to severe malnutrition and severe anemia.

He appeared caquexia and depressed. After receiving three weeks of intensive non-toxic therapies, which included PriMed, ImmunoCare, intravenous Vitamin C, full body and local hyperthermia, among other treatment modalities. Sylvester was discharged on April 25th, and will continue a home program.

During his stay he gain 2 pounds , the abdominal pain disappeared, had significant increase in energy and physical output (to the point that he used the rebounder every hour daily for sessions of 2 minutes). He showed much improved quality of life and will to continue living. He is determined to win the fight against a very aggressive recurrent cancer!
